Style: Christmas tree extravaganza

Festive fun

Christmas wouldn’t be Christmas without a fabulous tree. But don't opt for traditional green again. Try pretty pink, snow white or moody metallics - something to keep everyone merry.

Snow white

A pure white palette adds glamour and frosty fairytale enchantment. The White Company uses illuminated accessories to bring warmth to this pared-back decorating scheme. Set your Christmas tree against a white wall, and team with candles, glowing fairylights and sparkly crystal accessories to soften the setting.

Golden glitz

The Duchess Cream Christmas Tree from Focus will add decadent glamour to your living room. The rich shades of gold work especially well with a neutral colour scheme.

Double take

Who says you have to stop at one Christmas tree? If you have a prominent fireplace or wall feature then create symmetry by placing identical trees either side.

Classic colours

A traditional tree will never fail to move with contrasting shades of red and green. It has already been fitted with 200 lights and a secured base to keep it firmly upright. Festive decorating made easy.

Delux monochrome

Bring contemporary sparkle to your tree with black and white decorations made of tassels, feathers and jewels. Their bold outlines look great set against silver tree branches. Although designed for the festive season, they also look charming from door knobs, windows or even your handbag for year-round decoration.

Rainbow brights

This White Christmas Tree makes the perfect blank canvas on which to be creative and play with vibrant candy tones of flamboyant red, blue, green, yellow and purple. Its slim shape looks sleek and the glossy pine-effect branches add a reflective quality that dazzles in both natural and artificial light. Go wild.

Pretty in pink

Little girls will be thrilled with this pink-themed Christmas tree. Fluffy fairy lights, sparkly snowflakes and glitter angels are combined with pink and lilac shades for the ultimate in pink chic. Mums and daughters can have one each to decorate in tandem!

Peacock shades

The 5ft curved needle tree from Marks & Spencer is dressed with rich, velvety tones of blue and purple, adding a little peacock-shaded decadence to any room. Worried about buying fake? Good news, a real tree will be planted for every artificial tree that Marks & Spencer sell. Also available in white.

Oriental elegance

These eastern-inspired hanging decorations will give your tree an exotic air. In black, red and gold, the Decorative Chinese tassel, deserve to be the centre of attention so don’t overcrowd.
